Jim has spent his entire life in the asphalt paving industry.  As early as 12 years old he was batching asphalt for his father’s paving company on Long Island, New York.  After attending Kent State he decided to return to the trade.  After several years of paying his dues, he started Red Clay Industries in 1996 with 2 employees and virtually zero capital.  Within 10 years Jim grew Red Clay from a small asphalt patching service to a reputable site contractor with multiple paving, concrete, and stone base crews.  His story is one of hard work and tenacity.
